Itinerary

1
AT 7:00 AM: Meet outside Humayun's Tomb
We start at 7:00 am, outside Humayun’s Tomb parking lot and begin our cycle tour from there. A landmark in the development of Mughal architecture, Humayun’s Tomb was commissioned in 1569. The structure inspired several other significant architectural achievements, including the Taj Mahal.
2
Visit Sundar Nursery
Next, we move to Sundar Nursery. The "Sunder" part of the name comes from the Sunder Burj tomb located on the same premises. Although the name Sunder Nursery has still been held, the park has been quoted to be 'Delhi's Central Park' after renovations.
3
Explore Lodi Gardens
After enjoying the beauty of Sunder Nagar, we move towards Lodhi Gardens, a sprawling green park located in the heart of Delhi. It houses the mausoleums of two Delhi Sultanate rulers, namely Mohammed Shah and Sikander Lodhi, along with other structures. Boasting of impressive architecture and impeccable natural beauty, the garden, and the structures within it echo the national capital’s illustrious tryst with history.
4
See Lodhi Art District
Our next stop is the Lodhi art district. Located between Khanna Market and Meharchand Market in Lodhi Colony, Lodhi Art District is India's first-ever open-air art district where 25 street artists from India and around the world came together to paint the walls and create a masterpiece.
5
Lunch and Coffee Break
We take a break for coffee and lunch at Dewan’s café and revel about our heritage tour and then conclude the tour at Safdurjung’s tomb.
6
Tour Ends
The heritage walking tour offers you the perfect way to gain a true appreciation for understanding Delhi’s colorful past and vibrant present. In the duration, you will learn more, see more, discover more, and experience more than you ever thought possible.
